Our Story

The Heart Behind The Balanced Kid, Inc.

My journey to becoming an occupational therapist began in 7th grade when I observed an OT working compassionately with patients. I knew then that this was the path for me.

I immersed myself in the field, gaining experience through volunteering, observing, and specialized education and training.

Discovering a passion for pediatrics, I honed my expertise in Ayres Sensory Integration Theory and relationship-based approaches in therapy under experienced mentors. For over 18 years, I delivered high-quality, individualized care, deepening my commitment to whole-child, whole-family support.

When the opportunity arose, I founded The Balanced Kid, Inc. in April of 2018 - a community-focused private practice built on trust, connection, and proven approaches.

As a Libra, the concept of Balance has always resonated with me, and it's at the heart of our mission to support the dynamic equilibrium between client, family, therapist and community.

Today, I lead our work with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering belief in every individual’s potential. This is not just my profession, but my life's passion, and I'm honored to walk alongside each family on their OT journey.
