Alyssa Illian, MS, OTR/L
Alyssa is an occupational therapist with extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings. Since beginning her career in 2008, she has worked primarily in school-based settings, with additional experience in outpatient clinics and early intervention. She has extensive experience working with preschool-aged children and previously served on a multidisciplinary diagnostic team, collaborating with other professionals to evaluate children's developmental needs and determine appropriate supports and services.

With a strong background in early childhood development, she values meeting children where they are and using play-based, individualized approaches to support their growth. What she enjoys most about being an occupational therapist is simply spending time with children, getting to know their unique personalities, and building meaningful relationships with them and their families. She believes that working closely with families is an essential part of therapy and enjoys collaborating to identify meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and help each child reach their fullest potential.

Alyssa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Rush University.
