Rocio Leon, MS, OTR/L

Rocio is a bilingual (Spanish/English) occupational therapist excited to continue to work with the pediatric population and their families. She has recent experience with pediatric, geriatric, and adult neurology. She completed her occupational therapy internship with The Balanced Kid, Inc. and has training and certification in LSVT BIG. In addition to joining The Balanced Kid team, she is a member of the AdventHealth acute care team. Rocio believes in the importance of following a collaborative approach in supporting children and their families while having fun to build self-advocacy, self-confidence, and improve overall optimal performance.

Rocio graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services with a minor in Family and Child Studies and from North Central College with a Master of Occupational Therapy. She is a member of the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD).
